Details & Guidelines:
We accept pitches for short film ideas of any genre, with a duration of 15 minutes or less. The winning idea will receive a ‘greenlight’ to move into production with the funds raised at Greenlight Night.
Greenlight Night is the start of the filmmaking journey with Young Filmmakers Glasgow. We will act as executive producers, working with you to make sure the filmmaking process runs smoothly. You are the artist. We are there to keep the project moving, provide deadlines - as well support you in any decisions and challenges you face. We’re looking to support filmmakers that are happy to negotiate deadlines and work alongside us. The Greenlight Night model exists to benefit everyone involved. We want all greenlit projects to be the centrepiece of our growing community, and to help develop skills within that community.
For security reasons, all funds raised will remain with Young Filmmakers Glasgow and be distributed as and when needed.
